AMAZING!!! This hop bomb is begging to be bottled in bombers! LOVED it!!!
With the shutter open for 30 seconds while focusing on the All Day IPA, I took a drink of the Black IPA on the left. It made for a fun ghostly look.
I was so excited to have Rubaeus for the first time in several years, it wasn’t until it was almost gone that I finally could set the beer down to take a picture.
These coasters where a small part of why Grand Rapids, MI is BeerCity USA once again. The wonderful loyalty and pride of the people of this city (because they have so much to be proud of) was main driving force.
Grateful I can still get it on tap when it’s not available in bottles.
Maybe I’ll get to drink a beer from this one someday. I might as well plan on drinking Black Biscuit from the mug. They’re both about as rare as one another. 😉
Love the nitro!
Gotta love test batches.
So smooth and so creamy!
Interfruital relationships work so well here.
Laces in!
Jefe – belonging to one of my best friends. So much of our time together happens at Founders.
Too bad it can’t be harvest time year round.
It’s incredibly ironic that one of my absolute favorite beer photos is of an empty glass.
This was a surprise on tap in Sep of 2012. Still great!
Every year I long for the release of Double Trouble. This year was even worse. I got to try Doom before Double Trouble. OK, it was just minutes, but still…
I’d much rather have Double Trouble be my middle name than trouble or danger…or both.
It’s never enough.
Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????????? In the end, it doesn’t matter. As this blog is being finished, I’m drinking from my official mug. Whew!
Just as I was about to leave, I was handed this from a server via a patron who bought it for me. He’s a good customer where I work and I thank him for his generosity.
You ever dance with the devil by the pale tap handle?
Nuts Centennial
After returning from our honeymoon which included three stops at Russian River Brewing, Centennial made the first fill of this bad boy.
I think this is my favorite place to play with shutter speeds.
Beer goggles at their best.
Physically is the only way I can look down on Founders.
Founders has the most beautiful candles I’ve ever seen. Granted, take the beer out of the picture and I have no idea what the hell is in that mason jar.
The Bold. The Black. The Beautiful.
50 shades of gray…and Founders.
Infruitful Planetary!
It’s awesome to know one of the brewers at Founders and receive such amazing gifts as vertical years of Backwoods Bastard. It’s equally as awesome to share them with someone who has a Mug Club membership going back many, many years. I love coming across an older style mug, especially when I can take a photo of it.
